After Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail by the Federal High Court of Nigeria in Abuja " 2017”, the then Presidency secretly ordered for the assassination of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, this was followed by the invasion of his country home in Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia just close to the government house Umuahia. At the end of the military exercise, 29 innocent people were killed by the Nigeria military.
This barbaric act happened in 14th September 2017. What a disgrace!! In this civilised age, for a military of a perceived country to engage in such criminal gangsterism with the intention to assassinate an individual; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, whose only crime is, asking for freedom for the indigenous communities, forcefully roped criminally by Britain, in a contraption called Nigeria.
Those who hate BiafraExit, were rejoicing and even hailing the presidency for killing innocent Biafrans without knowing the implications of such administrative rascality before the international communities.
In June 2021, the same Presidency ordered for the arrest and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, this was followed by his abduction and extra rendition from Kenya to Abuja Nigeria in June 2021.
In October 2022, the Appeal Court judges gave unanimous judgment that discharged and acquitted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of any case.
The Nigeria government, known for flaunting Court order has kept Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in solitary confinement of the DSS till date.
With the above facts well known globally by international community, which individual with his sane mind or even directors of multinational companies will take Nigeria serious to the extent of investing in Nigeria ailing economy.
Without a strong judiciary, no country can attract foreign investors. Wise investors can only invest where their investment can be protected legally under the ambit of the existing Law.
As the government continues to detain Mazi Nnamdi Kanu illegally after all their human rights abuses of an innocent man asking for the freedom of his people, the whole scenario is actually taking a toll on the economy of Nigeria now.
Today, those who praised the government of Muhammadu Buhari are all wailing, due to high cost of living in Nigeria, high exchange rate, terrorism and inflation.
All MNK's prophesy concerning Nigeria economic woes has been fulfilled. Today, Somalia is better than Nigeria.
We Biafrans are children of light, we hate bloodshed. All we are asking for is a date for referendum to enable a peaceful #BiafraExit. But if war and arm struggle is the only language that Nigeria understands, we are good to go, yes, we are good to go.
To save more lives, it’s time to renegotiate this Nigeria unity that has killed millions of Biafrans and other indigenous communities.
The more they keep an innocent man in illegal detention, the more the economy of Nigeria nosedive into abyss.
Let it be reminded that no-one can defeat the army of volunteers. We the IPOB members are ready when duty calls, to pay the ultimate price for the much-desired freedom of Biafra. That is the only reason why we are here.
It is still Biafra or death!!
