Bitter Leaf is very bitter, but we cannot ignore it because of its medicinal and nutritious value. So is the truth we present on this platform.
Some Nigerian leaders hate truth, but they need to hear the truth, as long as we are here. Few days ago, I saw a caption in one of Nigeria national dailies; "I Don't Know Mazi Nnamdi Kanu" a statement supposedly made by Justice Fagbemi; Nigeria Minister of Justice.
Personally, I am not surprised to read that. My joy is that he knows Gani Adams and he knows Sunday Igboho unless he is not a true Yoruba man.
Nigeria is a place where justice is served to family and friends on a platter of gold and a place where justice is slaughtered on the altar of vested interest, ethnic bigotry and nepotism.
I am not worried that Mr. Justice do not know the victims of injustice in Nigeria. One can quickly ask Justice Fagbemi whether he knows the following;
1. Deborah Samuel
2. Leah Sharibu
3. Mrs. Bridget
4. The victims of Lekki Toll gate shooting
5. Victims of Fulani terrorists’ attacks in Benue State and other states
6. The victims of Nimbo Isi Uzo Fulani terrorists attack
7. Alex Badeh
8. Dele Giwa
9. Bola Ige
10. Gulak
11. Pa Alfred Rewane etc.
If he doesn't know all these people, at least he knows many Nigeria politicians which is quite important to his ministry.
How do we expect him to know Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, even when his case of extraordinary rendition by Nigeria ruling cabal is a very big international embarrassment to Nigeria? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not a Nigeria politician.
But if he claims to know these people mentioned above, what is his ministry doing to get justice for the dead, the living and oppressed in Nigeria?
Many are in detention centres across Nigeria without trial for so many years. Many among them are Biafrans whose only crime is; being a Biafran, but we have people who boldly claim to be Oduduwa and Arewa nationality in the same contraption called Nigeria.
He doesn’t need to know anyone before he carries out his duty and responsibilities. He reads newspapers and watch television, he must have had first-hand information about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's case and the injustice meted to him by Nigeria state.
What does he want to know again before he saves his ministry from moral decadence?
