How did we get here? How did we deviate from our quest for freedom to religious ignominy?
Social media is agog with young girls and boys coming on live program to promote their traditional religious worship. Some who believe they are messengers of the gods have acquired so much boldness that they can even show case their accoutrements and sacramentoes on social media.
Well I don't have problem with that. What I don't quite subscribe to is someone coming online to cast aspersions on one religion in bid to promote the one he or she presumably believed is the best religion.
I have studied so many religion and can boldly tell you that none is the best and non is the worst, because so many religion of today evolved from the religion of yesterday. This is a fact meant specially for great thinkers not religious morons.
For the purpose of this article , let me use the term 'Creator' in place of God .
Almost every religion I have studied in its plain form is embroidered in purity, holiness and self denial. No religion is known for teaching its adherents to brake down law and order or to tear down the moral fabrics of the society.
For me , religion is there to help you reconcile and relocate your way back to the CREATOR. The Creator is the 'Sonum Bonum' . You can consult your Latin Dictionary for the meaning.
Social Media is a world of sane and insane people, Knowledgeable and half-baked amateur instructors. It is now a common thing for some people who could not do well academically in primary school to come online to desecrate the Holy Bible and even attack the divinity of the CREATOR.
How far have you gone in your research before you elevate yourself to the status of a religious instructor online?
Have you read the Bible? Have you read the Bhagavad-Gita?
Have you read the Sanscrits?
Have you read the Holy Koran?
Have you read Epic of Gilgamesh?
Have you read the Grail Message?
Have you read the Hebrew Talmud?
Let us read a few line from the Holy; Bible , before I continue.
Psalm 11:2 : For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
Psalm 11:3 : If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Now lets continue, after creation, The Creator gave man MORAL CODE . Some call it law but I prefer to call it instructions according to the real meaning of the law in Hebrew Torah.
I challenge all those writing junk against the Holy Bible , especially the Igbos , to go and read Exodus , Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. If there is any single law or instruction given to the people that is strange to your own Igbo community , please you are free to come and educate me. If not then stop tearing the moral fabrics of the society.
It is idiotic to refer to the Bible as a story book , when you continue on that , you continually display your mediocrity an arrogance of idiocy.
The Bible is a Library of Knowledge in every field including, Law, Health, Administration, Architecture, Politics, Engineering and other sciences.
Do not hide under the guise of social media content Creator and Biafran agitator to be casting aspersions on any religion in order to promote your choicest religion . You may enjoy the traffic on your blog this time but, you need to stay alive to enjoy your ill gotten wealth out of deception on social media platforms.
The law is the foundation , if you desecrate the Bible , telling people , that the Bible is a slave book , you are destroying the moral fabrics of the society.
The world is like a jungle , it is the law that keeps everyone on check. Verse 2 of Psalm Chapter 11 reveals the plan of the wicked against the upright, but the law is there to protect him and even provide justice to the oppressed.
We should endeavour to preserve this holy foundation given to our ancestors by The Creator who has singled us out as a holy nation for royal priesthood. Prince and Princess that's what we are. We are the people of the Book.
Like I said , Bible is a Library, you must not like every book in the Library, depending on your social , psychological and spiritual needs at that time , so are the Books of the Bible. Some are prophetic , poetic , historical , evangelicals and apocalyptic .
