Nigeria as a rogue state has been sustained all these years by the help of the media. The main stream media BBC being the megaphone of the devilish imperialistic colonialist; Britain was instrumental in orchestrating the Biafra genocide of 1967 -1970.
1. By twisting the facts surrounding the 1966 Coup to deceive the world and the Northern Nigeria peasants that the coup was an Igbo Coup, using BBC Hausa service to send home their message.
2. The same BBC was instrumental in deceiving the world into believing that Biafrans who were actually seeking for self-determination and self-defence after 1966 pogrom were rebels, while exonerating the genocidists who flouted the Aburi Accord agreement.
3. Britain gathered support from her foreign allies like Russia, Egypt etc through her media mudslinging of the victims of genocide.
In Nigeria, the Southwest that took after Britain in her act of treachery has mastery of the media before the invent of social media.
The Yorubas or South Westerners have really paid enough price to lay to claim to the presidential seat of Power in Nigeria, taking a cursory look at what they did for the Northern ruling cabal with the help of the media.
1. Today a lot of people cannot pin point the true picture of Muhammed Buhari or even his real age, because of a lot of pictures and photoshop images being fed to the public by the Yoruba Nigeria media.
2. A lot of people believe Boko haram has been defeated and Nigeria economy has really improved under the outgoing regime of Muhammadu Buhari.
3. A lot of people even believed the last election was free and fair. That is exactly what the media can do to the psyche of any society.
A lot of people believe what they read from newspapers, what they hear from radio stations or what they see on the social media the way they believe the Bible or the Koran.
As Nigerians wait for the outcome of election petition tribunal, we have to gear up for a media show down.
Should Tinubu clench the victory after the legal battle, we are going to enter into a serious media war because: -
1. Igbos are always seen by the Yorubas as arch-rivals and will try to use the media and state power to destroy the Igbo man and his businesses scattered all over Nigeria.
2. The post-election killing of the Igbos and burning of Igbo properties in Lagos were not given a media coverage, this is a sign of what you should expect from now on from Yoruba Nigeria Media.
This has proved that Biafra restoration remains the only succour for my people, who are trapped in the contraption and are almost at the verge of extinction.
