Our fathers value human life, but that is hinged on if one has love and respect for other people's lives. So goes the adage "Egbe Belu Ugo Belu" Which has the English equivalent of Live and Let Live. The white men that moved into African with New Testament Bible to twist our minds with "Live and Let Die", "Turn the other cheek for a second slap", " and love your enemies" could not show us where these teachings conform with other potions of Torah, which is the direct instruction from Elohim.
In the Ten commandments, they were not instructed to love an adulterer, a killer or a thief?
I don't believe in any scripture that I cannot confirm its conformity in the old and New Testament verses.

They were commanded to receive strangers with love, but not when such a person constitutes nuisance and makes him or herself a threat to lives and prosperity of other people.

Secondly our ancestors believed in self-defence. "Agaghi Eji Mgbagbu Ghalu Ogu" Fear of death can never be a barrier to defending your community in times of war.
If Elohim defended His throne when Satan and his fallen angels thought it wise to cross their boundary, who are you to preach against defending our people and our land with the last drop our blood?
our people fought the British for thirty years. You can now understand why they fought them. imagine allowing gay marriage in European churches and even encouraging Africans to do so.
Our ancestors are not cowards but real children of the Most High, who by all indication is a Man of war. The lion of the tribe of Judah.
